President Vladimir Zelensky has suggested U.S. President Donald Trump come to Ukraine before making decisions and plans about cease-fire talks in Ukraine.
Zelensky said he would be happy to meet Trump in Ukraine so he can understand what's going on here, CBS News reported.
"We respect your position. But please, before you make any decisions, any plans regarding negotiations, come and see the people, the civilians, the soldiers, the hospitals, the churches, the children who have been destroyed or killed. Come and see, and then we will move on a plan to end the war. You will realize who you are dealing with. You will understand what Putin has done," he said.
