Ceasefire
U.S. President Donald Trump is extending the ceasefire with Iran until negotiations between the two countries make progress.
Trump made this decision in light of the fact that the Iranian government is deeply divided, as well as at the request of Pakistani Army Chief of Staff Asim Munir and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
"We were asked to hold off on an attack on Iran until their leaders and representatives can put forward a unified proposal. Therefore, I have ordered our armed forces to continue the blockade and remain ready and combat-ready in all other respects, as well as to maintain the ceasefire until their proposal is presented and discussions are concluded, one way or another," he wrote.
