US and Iran agreed to establish a "line of communication"

The mechanism is being created to prevent incidents and misunderstandings and ensure the safe passage of commercial vessels. It is intended to remain in effect until a final agreement is signed, i.e., for 60 days, or longer if the deadline for reaching an agreement is extended by mutual agreement, CNN reports.

According to mediators, an agreement was reached to establish a similar task force with the participation of Lebanon to facilitate a cessation of hostilities in Lebanon.
