US has cleared mines from the Strait of Hormuz

Trump stated that the US military has cleared mines from the Strait of Hormuz and controls it "100%", CNN reports.

"We've cleared the entire strait; maybe you've heard, maybe you haven't. It's open now. Look, the only one in control of the Strait of Hormuz right now is the US Navy. They'll drop a new mine every now and then, and we'll find it," he said.
