Iran has again attacked the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad

The attacks caused some damage near the embassy, which is located in the fortified “Green Zone” in central Baghdad, CNN reports.

Security officials reported that two missiles targeting the embassy were shot down.

The embassy and other U.S.-linked facilities have been subjected to a series of drone and missile attacks since the U.S. and Israel launched a military campaign against Tehran nearly three weeks ago.

In early March, the embassy ordered all non-essential personnel to leave the compound for security reasons.
