Iran wants to kill Trump

For years, Iran has openly declared its intention to avenge Trump for the assassination of Qasem Soleimani, a senior general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who was killed during Trump's first term, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Commenting on this information, the White House recalled Trump's words in Turkey.

"They want to eliminate the leader of the United States—me. I'm on every list. This morning, I saw that I'm on every list. And so far, I think I've been a little lucky, but that may not last," he said.

During the funeral of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, attendees chanted calls for Trump's death and unfurled a banner reading, "We will kill Trump."
