Putin is thinking about how to end the war, says Zelensky

"Things are not as bad on the battlefield as Russia describes. The situation is difficult and complicated. He has many more people—that's a fact. Weapons - that's a fact. But his economy is crumbling - that's a fact," said President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Russia is increasing part of its production, but it will not be able to increase it enough and it will fall, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

“The degradation of their economy will continue regardless. And he understands this. I think that in a year he will have significant problems, in two years there will be even more, and so on. And therefore, I think they are thinking about how to end the war, but with some kind of ‘victory for themselves,’” he emphasized.

According to him, the Russians came up with a “victory” in the form of Ukraine's withdrawal from Donbas.

“I think this is what they came up with as a victory — something they want to sell within their own country,” Zelensky explained.
