The war in Gaza will end in two to three weeks, says Trump

Trump communicates quite often with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who told him that the war should end soon, CNN reports.

“I think that within the next two to three weeks, you will get a pretty good, convincing, final result. It's hard to say, because they've been fighting for thousands of years. I think we're doing a very good job, and it really should end. At the same time, people should not forget about October 7,” Trump said.

Trump noted the work of his special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Whitcoff, who is working to free hostages still being held in Gaza, as well as organizing food aid in connection with the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the enclave.
