Trump wants Europe to pressure China, which would force Russia to end the war

"Well, if they were to impose sanctions, for example, or tariffs, or whatever you want to call it – if they were to do that against China, I think the war might end. Because China is by far the largest buyer of oil from Russia. And I think they have other leverage over Russia as well. I'll be talking with President Xi on Friday. We'll see how things play out. If Europe does something against China, I think China would probably force them to end the war," he said in an interview with Fox News.

Trump announced that he would speak with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Friday about an agreement on the TikTok messaging app and trade: "And we are very close to reaching agreements on all of these issues. My relationship with China is very good. You know, we have a trade agreement with them. We had a very good meeting recently."
