The film "F1: The Movie" surprises primarily with its acting

When the promotion of "F1: The Movie" first began, the bet, as could be expected from a film with such a plot and such a budget (more than $200 million), was made on the authenticity of what was happening on the movie screen, with the real "Formula 1".

And the film in this sense met expectations - its "picture" is simply magnificent. However, as it turned out during the viewing, all of this, in principle, was already there - one camera installed on a racing car, another camera showing the racer's face and the work of his arms and legs, etc.

But what is truly amazing is the work of veteran actors Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem, although he has a supporting role. Here, you can't express it otherwise than as a paradox: both of them have achieved such a level of professionalism that it is completely unnoticeable.

Well, it is also worth noting that although the theme of Pitt's character's injuries, dangerous to health at a minimum, and even life, was persistently peddled throughout the film, having given him victory in the finale, the filmmakers did not maim or kill him, which would have been quite in the spirit of Hollywood.

It's just a pity that the "film academy" does not give "Oscars" for such work, where the skill has reached such a level that it seems the norm. Although - who knows...
